Deborah Klezmer Designs is a design and fabrication studio dedicated to the unusual in fine jewelry. I work with precious metals, including gold and silver, as well as diamonds and other natural gemstones. My work pays homage to the idea that everything we've made owes a debt to nature. In my jewelry, leaves scatter around gears and balance wheels; vines grow across rows of books. Combining traditional metalsmithing techniques with an assemblage artist's fascination with found objects, I'm a fine jeweler who likes to upcycle.
